Muggulu - Decorative art.

This place is meant for all, who love to learn Muggulu (called in Telugu) or Kolam (called in tamil) or Rangoli (called in Hindi) – which are the traditional decorative designs (Art) drawn by women of India, in front of Houses, Shops, Garden, Shrines, Temples, Living rooms, Kitchen and on all floors of welcoming areas during regular and festive seasons. It is believed that they create humbleness on welcoming the visitors.

Also it is believed that they bring good luck to the place they are decorated. Chalks, Colors, powered Calcium carbonate are used to draw them. Paints are also used to decorate them with extensive charm and shiny.
I wish you all have fun learning the designs and way the Muggu is decorated in Southern India.
